On April 29, 2017, Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control (FCACC) will host “Tuxes and Tails,” its
second annual Black Tie Gala which raises funds for Chicago's Neediest Animals! This year’s event will be
chaired by legendary NBA trainer and recognized author Tim Grover and his wife Katherine Grover, and will
be held at the beautiful and pet-friendly Waldorf Astoria in Chicago's Gold Coast.
Also joining the festivities will be celebrity guest and emcee LaRoyce Hawkins, from the NBC hit series
Chicago PD. The evening promises fine dining, dancing, auctions and live entertainment for you and your
guests in one of Chicago's most luxurious venues, and we invite you to be part of this life saving event.
Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control (FCACC) is an Illinois nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization committed
exclusively to helping save the lives of over 20,000 homeless animals who come into the Chicago Animal Care
and Control (CACC) municipal shelter each year. CACC is Chicago’s largest shelter and FCACC is the only
organization focused solely on CACC and the animals in its custody. Animals make their way to CACC through
neglect, abandonment, abuse, court cases or are given up by their owner. No matter how long or short their
stay, Chicago's city shelter animals can count on FCACC to provide extra care and comfort they need.
Tuxes and Tails is an elegant event that will attract Chicago’s socially and animal conscious. We hope that
your values align with this audience and ask that you will join this group of supporters as a sponsor or attendee.
FCACC is grateful for the support of those who recognize the needs of the abandoned animals in our city.
We look forward to partnering with you to make sure that no animal is left behind!
